USDA's REAP Program for Biodiesel

Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) provides guaranteed loan financing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to purchase or install renewable energy systems such as biodiesel. Agricultural producers with over 50% of gross income from agricultural operations (regardless of location) and small businesses from rural areas (50,000 population or less) can apply for the loan. Loan guarantee of up to 75% ($25 Million Max) and grants up to 25% ($500,000 Max) of total eligible cost can be covered from this funding. Application deadline is Nov 2, 1015 for grants of 20K or less and May 2, 2016 for any amount of loan and grants.
